Prince Planet was sent from his home planet Radion to study the people of Earth and help them in their fight against evil. His power comes from a pendant he wears, which can only be recharged by energy transmitted from Radion.

Ken is a young boy who was raised by wolves in a jungle in the Himalayan Mountains. One day a meteor hits the jungle, causing a drastic change. This eventually leads to famine and a need for certain animals to relocate. Ken tries to help the animals as much as possible, in particular he watches over two young wolf cubs named Chichi and Poppo.

In 1842, in the Umemoku Mansion within Hikone Castle, Naosuke Ii, despite the tumultuous times, was engrossed in the world of tea ceremony. His friend, the Kokugaku scholar Nagano Shuzen, introduced him to a captivating shamisen master named Murayama Taka. Naosuke became deeply infatuated with her, disregarding the jealousy of his consort Shizu and the warnings of his senior retainer, Gaiji.
